Charlie started fishing for bream in the fresh waters around Panama City. In high school, he fished local bass tournaments before meeting friends who quickly converted him to an inshore/nearshore saltwater angler.
Today, Charlie’s fishing can be summed up as “Sight fish. Fly fish. Red fish.” Concentrating on throwing flies to feeding reds in 2" to 12" of water is a challenging way to relax and bond with other anglers.
His real passion is spending time outdoors with his family. Charlie, his wife and their kids enjoy camping, boating, snorkeling and off-roading. Regardless of what they are doing, having fun is always at the top of the list.
