Mike’s father was an avid angler, and they have fished together as long as Mike can remember. Getting his first boat at 12 years old, Mike’s enjoyment of fishing grew as he was able to explore new areas with friends. Mike began guiding part time while he was working as a PE teacher, and quickly decided to guide full time.

Primarily fishing for striper on the Connecticut River and Long Island Sound, Mike specializes in big fish on light tackle. But Mike’s passion takes him across the country as he seizes every opportunity to learn new techniques and new fisheries.

Staying active while refining his trade is what keeps Mike interested in fishing. The variety of locations, baits and presentations drives him to stay on the water. This constant learning helps Mike put his customers on fish.
